By accessing or using Meishi at meishi-ai.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Meishi.

2. Description of Service

Meishi provides a platform for storing and managing AI context data accessible via a REST API. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• All content you store in the Service, including your context data.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. Any activity under your API keys is your responsibility.
• Ensuring that any agents you connect to the Service comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
• Any damage caused by sharing your API keys or granting access to third parties.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Store, transmit, or process any unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the Service.
• Store any sensitive personal data of third parties without their explicit consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Meishi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage, or system failure, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Data Loss

We implement encryption and security measures, but we are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your data. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent backups of any data you consider critical. The version history feature is provided as a convenience and does not constitute a data backup guarantee.

9. Third-Party Agents and Integrations

The Service is designed to be accessed by third-party AI agents and tools. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the behavior of any third-party agent that accesses your context. You grant access to agents at your own risk. Any damage caused by an agent — including unauthorized writes, data exposure, or misuse of your context — is entirely your responsibility.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Meishi and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, and without liability to you. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction, as determined by us.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
